Polyurethane ball (tpu) ⚈ Accuracy and Industrial Bill

This ball is made of polyurethane, a thermoplastic elastomer that offers excellent resistance to abrasion as well as superior durability than rubber. This material is ideal for applications requiring flexibility and robustness. At Marteau- Lemarie, we offer a wide range of logs in stock in France, guaranteeing quick availability and personalized technical advice.

Corrosion resistance of polyurethane ball (tpu)

polyurethane has good corrosion resistance in diluted acids and alkalis, mineral oils and fats, petroleum products. It is not resistant to acids and strong bases, it is an unstable material in contact with hot water, warm and humid air, water vapour, aromatic hydrocarbons, polar organic solvents.

Applications of polyurethane ball (tpu)

Special bearings, safety valves, used in the food industry. If they contain a metal core, they collect impurities on the surface (screen cleaning).

On request, it is possible to supply Polyether urethane balls, a plastic material similar to polyurethane with improved mechanical properties.
