These balls are perfectly polished, smooth and shiny, but their very wide tolerances are those of grade 1000. Used for grinding raw materials or polishing finished components or products, they are mainly used in rotary mills or barrels.
These glass beads are used for grinding, polishing or precision grinding for cleaning without damage. There are slight differences between glass shot microbeads and grinding glass beads, i.e. between glass beads of less than 2 mm diameters and glass beads of 2 mm or more. Below you will find two separate technical sheets detailing chemical compositions, diameters and tolerances.
What is a grinding ball?
In terms of grinding, polishing & grinding balls, we store mainly steel ball, stainless steel ball and glass ball.
Unlike the precision balls that are sold individually, grinding, polishing and grinding balls are sold by weight.
