Nickel based superalloy balls (Hastelloy®, Inconel®, Incoloy®, Monel®) are developed for extreme environments where common stainless steels are in default: highly acidic or oxidizing media, temperatures above 600 °C, concentrated marine media. These alloys combine high mechanical hot resistance, excellent resistance to pit corrosion and stress cracking.
