Aluminium balls are characterized by good corrosion and wear resistance, as well as low weight. Excellent surface finish. The 3xxx series alloys are not heat treated and have mechanical characteristics slightly higher than the 1xxx series. The balls are delivered to passivity.

Corrosion resistance of 3XXX series aluminium alloy ball
The 3xxx series alloys have a corrosion resistance slightly lower than the 1xxx series. Good resistance in corrosive atmospheres, they are particularly resistant to corrosion by bites (except in the presence of chlorides).
Applications of the aluminium alloy ball 3XXX series
Ball bearings, valves used in the automotive industry (safety devices), electronic, in welding processes.
