Titanium balls are distinguished by one of the highest resistance to mass ratios of construction metals, total biocompatibility and excellent resistance to marine corrosion. Pure titanium (grades 1 and 2) is preferred for medical applications and the chemical industry. Ti6Al4V alloy (Grade 5) offers twice as much mechanical resistance for aerospace applications and implantology.
