Plastic balls have a more restricted standard range of diameters than that of steel and stainless steel precision balls as well as a lesser degree of precision. Nevertheless, plastic balls have many advantages like a low density, a certain elasticity, a silent application and are completely rustproof.
The choice of synthetic material is based on the physical and mechanical properties wanted by the customer. We have outlined all of the different materials and properties on our site to help you choose which ball is the right one for you. This is not an exhaustive list: when the order is large enough to warrant it, we can offer other synthetic materials on demand. |
